Been looking around for a second monitor for a while, and figured I'd share this.
Cheaper than Flingshot by $1 and beats Umart and PCCG on delivery charges ($15 and $26, respectively. HN charging $7 for reference). Relatively ubiquitous bricks and mortar shops should help with regards to warranty claims.

Was refurbished by dell, had the sticker from them and was in a sealed dell box when he picked it up with full packaging and protection on it. the sticker says somthing along the lines of "refurbished: this product may contain a combo of new and refurbished parts. Tested to meet original specs"
So my mate bought a Dell U3011 yesterday, and when he told me he had got it for $999 I was a little sceptical. But he sent me a picture and it's the real deal and after a bit of searching online I found the website (he only had a number). This is easily the cheapest I've ever seen a Dell U3011. I'm not sure if the mods will take this down because i'm not sure if this store has an ABN (Edit: ABN Posted below). Judging my the number of fans on their FB page (1000+) and the fact my mate got his from them with 3 years warranty (presumably from Dell, but I didn't ask), I'm inclined to think this is the real deal.
It's apparently a limited time sale, so better get stuck in if you want it. I'm going to try and see if I can bring myself to spend a grand, but in the meantime you guys go ahead.
